J.P. Morgan is Exposed for IRS Fraud
J.P. Morgan and the IRS
After settling a lawsuit for over $300 million just about a year ago, J.P. Morgan is now potentially in some trouble with the IRS.
A former employee and now whistleblower has just come forward to express that they think that J.P. Morgan had its hands in tax-free pension funds. If this is true, it is reported that they could be tied up in hundreds of millions of dollars in unpaid taxes owed directly to the IRS.
This case is important, mostly because we believe in sound business practices. But further, this case can help the public better understand the particular cases that the IRS is interested in taking. Not to mention, it can expose faulty business practices which are happening far beyond this case.
Any step in the right direction is a good step. We will follow this closely and anxiously await a decision by the IRS and the courts regarding this matter.
In the meantime, we hope that this will encourage any IRS whistleblowers to come forward and do the right thing. If representation is needed, Evans Law Firm is not only incredibly experienced in whistleblower cases, but with our passion for justice we are motivated by these cases.
