Voya sells its financial products through Voya Financial Advisors, Inc. and through Voya product partners such as World Financial Group or other advisory and brokerage firms. Voya’s book of annuities and life insurance has recently shifted. In 2018, Voya Financial divested itself of much of its annuity business to a consortium called Venerable Holdings, Inc., and announced later that year that it will no longer sell individual life insurance. Nevertheless, over 785,000 existing individual life insurance policies are still in force including a large number of indexed universal life insurance policies with the ICAR rider.
